Rosewood Wands

There are seven different types of wands that are made with Rosewood - starting with the smallest:

Acupressure   - by far our most popular - for Wand Therapy - Acupressure was first developed in Asia 5000 years ago.  These wands are approx. 11cm in length with a Quartz oval at the top with a further crystal set in the side.  Using gentle but firm pressure on the pulse points or muscles the wand helps to relieve pain, balancing the body to help reduce muscular tension and stress.  It is also said to help increase circulation. Enchantment Wands  - are so called because that is what we think they are - Enchantment means 'charm - delight - bewitch' and that is what these will do once you become their carer. Each one is individual - once chosen - it will be whatever you want it to be - a healer - a spell weaver - a comforter - a friend.  Talk to it, meditate with it but above all never ignore or forget it. They can be held either way by the Rosewood or by the Crystals - you will know what is best for you.

Gnosis    - Meaning 'Knowledge of Spiritual Matters' - a perfect 'starter' wand. They are approx. 20cm in length - a crystal point, oval or sphere is set on top of a Rosewood baton which has either one or three crystals set in its side.

 Peri   - Meaning 'Persian Fairy' - again a perfect 'starter' wand. They are approx 20cm in length - a crystal point, oval or sphere is set on top of a beautifully turned Rosewood baton again it has either one or three crystals set in its side.

Faerie  - Meaning 'Land of the Fairies' - the perfect place for this wand to come from - it is a longer version of the Gnosis at approx. 29cm but keeping its slender form  giving it a delicate feel - a crystal point, oval or sphere is set on top with either one or three crystals set in its side.

Nix   - Meaning 'Water Elf' - they were thought to be mischievous beings which this wand could be if not handled with care - it needs a definate purpose to keep it in hand as its size dictates.  Again a longer version of the Gnosis but also a lot chunkier at approx 32cm - again it has a crystal point, oval or sphere set in the top with either one or three crystals set in its side. (nb one of the first Nix we sold was to a lovely couple who's daughter had just passed her 'A' level in music and they bought it for her as a music baton - which we thought was perfect for the one they chose - hopefully it brought magic to her life) 

Elemental  -  Meaning 'Earth Spirits' the four elements water, air, fire and earth used to bring the power of nature into spells. This is the largest of the Enchantment Wands and measures approx.50cm. Each is totally different from the rest.
