Very Vintage Radio and Record Player
This was my Nan and Granddad's - Defiant MSH549C Radio and Record Player. Nan passed away nearly 30 years ago so it has been sitting doing nothing for a while now.
I have yet to find another - they were made for the Co-op way back when - there is plenty of info for them on the internet. I can remember it working when I was very very young but as you can see from the fact it still has a cotton wrapped wire and bakerlite plug it hasn't worked for a while now. I was going to have it fixed but the person let me down - i.e didn't bother turning up!!! So it is a project or should I say a labour of love for someone. I can safely say it hasn't been PAT tested!

Antique, Old, Traditional, Aged, Vintage, Dated, Period, Historical, Retro, Pre-loved - they are all words to describe what? Nowadays too many items are defined as something they're not, so as we were told if you find something you like or mayhap even love, then buy it. Your choice - it's too late when they’re gone.

Most items in this section are pre-loved so will have some wear in one form or another. Many have never been used ‘new’ but I have had them a while. All the items and their conditions have been described as accurately as possible. The photographs are part of those descriptions.
Please keep coming back as most of the items are from my own family collections and I have so much which needs to be parted with. it will take a while for me to put them all on here. Some of them are payment on Collection due to their 'pre-loved' condition or weight. Why not come and see them?
