Antiquarian - Nine Volumes over 100 years old - full of information and history.
I am not going to say that these are in good condition because they are not. There is no publishing date but I am presuming they are circa early 1920s. The reason I say that is I am 99% sure they were my fathers and he was born in 1915. We as children worked with them during out school days during the 60s and 70s. Their covers are red cloth boards with smooth red cloth spine gutters outlined in gilt lines with decorations. Some are in better condition than others - the 3rd volume's cover is particularly bad but I am sure a brilliant book binder could change that.
They measure approx 24.5 x 17cm. There are literally tens of thousands of colour and black and white illustrations. Over 8100 pages in total. Contains an enormous amount of fascinating historical information on just about everything even Crystals!!. Condition is as I said not good but pretty sure all the pages are still there. They really are a fascinating set going back to 1915 when the idea was first conceived for them. The only way you will know if they are for you is to come and see them.

Antique, Old, Traditional, Aged, Vintage, Dated, Period, Historical, Retro, Pre-loved - they are all words to describe what? Nowadays too many items are defined as something they're not, so as we were told if you find something you like or mayhap even love, then buy it. Your choice - it's too late when they’re gone.

Most items in this section are pre-loved so will have some wear in one form or another. All the items and their conditions have been described as accurately as possible. The photographs are part of those descriptions. Many have never been used ‘new’ but are years old.
