Vintage Royal Vale 15 pieces in total of fine Bone China
Royal Vale Gold Lace Tea set -Vintage 1940s or 1950s
It is a pre-owned White and Gold lace pattern set, comprising of 4 cups, 4 saucers, 4 tea plates, 1 cake plate, 1 sugar bowl and a creamer / milk jug. They all have scalloped edges, with a gold lace pattern (looks like pointsettias) on a white base colour. The date stamp does put them late 40's or 50's. I can't find any chips or cracks, and if it wasnt for the slight wear on the centre of the cake plate you would think it had never been used. The gold (gilt) is as good as anything would be for this age.
