The Modern Children's Library of Knowledge - Full Set of Books 1 - 8
First printed in 1957 - 1961 and these are the 1964 editions of the full set. For books almost 60 years old they are in amazing condition, some I dont think have been opened since they were first read. There are some age marks on the covers and they do smell musty, but I cannot find any damage on the insides. The Books are: The World of Nature - The World we Live in - The World of the Past - The World of Science and Invention - The World of Arts and Pastimes - The School Companion - The World of Books and The Pictorial Dictionary.
Because of the weight they are collection only.

Born from the vision of two people, two worlds, two cultures in the 1950s, so I am taking their vision and running with it. I have this website so thought 'why not?'
Antique, Old, Traditional, Aged, Vintage, Dated, Period, Historical, Retro, Pre-loved - they are all words to describe what? Nowadays too many items are defined as something they're not, so as we were told if you find something you like or mayhap even love, then buy it. Your choice - it's too late when they’re gone.

Most items in this section are pre-loved so will have some wear in one form or another. Many have never been used ‘new’ but I have had them a while. All the items and their conditions have been described as accurately as possible. The photographs are part of those descriptions.
Please keep coming back as most of the items are from my own family collections and I have so much which needs to be parted with. it will take a while for me to put them all on here. Some of them are payment on Collection due to their 'pre-loved' condition or weight. Why not come and see them?
