Vintage Wedgwood Tarot Plate
I used to have two of these, for when Malc and I worked with them during our Spiritual Development Workshops and Mystic Night parties, it's amazing what you can do with these plates and a few Crystal Pendulums. It is not just a decorative item, but proven in the past by our students to be an extremely powerful instrument.
It is what it is in the pictures, a Wedgwood plate with a Sun in the middle and the 22 cards of the major Arcana around the edge. The backstamp, is still being used today on Queens Ware, and first appeared in 1940. In 1974 the circled R was added to this design to indicate that the name Wedgwood is a registered trade mark - so definitely vintage.
Its diameter is approx 26cm. I can find no chips, scratches or crazing. Unfortunately, the box is long gone.

Born from the vision of two people, two worlds, two cultures in the 1950s, so I am taking their vision and running with it. I have this website so thought 'why not?' It evolves from day to day.
Antique, Old, Traditional, Aged, Vintage, Dated, Period, Historical, Retro, Pre-loved - they are all words to describe what? Nowadays too many items are defined as something they're not, so as we were told if you find something you like or mayhap even love, then buy them. Your choice - it's too late when they're gone.

An eclectic mix of new, old but 'new' but mostly pre-loved items which need to find new homes. As most items in this section are pre-loved they will have some wear in one form or another. Many have never been used ‘new' but I have had them a while, or as the website transforms there will be more new items added. All the items and their conditions have been described as accurately as possible. The photographs are part of those descriptions.
