Finally parted company with LinkedIn - had already left Facebook, Instagram and Twitter last year or was it the year before, who knows. Doesn't seem to have done my business any harm doing it.
LinkedIn was ok - business people - until this morning when a post for some reason appeared in my feed. Hate speech had nothing on this woman's rantings - which set off a flurry of replies both for and against what she was spouting - nothing to do with 'business' in any shape or form.
So that was it, couldn't be doing with it anymore - I no longer have any social media pages whatsoever. It was really simple i just pressed a couple of buttons and like a puff of smoke, LinkedIn was gone. My phone is no longer going to ping every so often, asking me if I want to connect with someone from Outer Mongolia offering drainage systems. Or Psychics/Therapists who are way too young (and underdressed) to have had any worldly or other worldly experiences to be able to offer any meaningful insights to their clients. Whoops going to stop or I will become a ranter - light and kindness xxxx.
Don't get me wrong I did have some lovely connections, one of my brother's best friends in Switzerland kept me amused with his take on my posts. But other than those connections I really could not see the point. So that's it, all gone.
I really should start these Blog posts up again (mayhap!!) properly when I have something meaningful to impart. Nobody reads them so hey ho.
